Forum Thread: What are your favorite natural beauty brands?

Oh, I have so many. But if we're to find a nice balance between quality and price, then here's a list of my go-to eco-friendly brands:

1. Nature's Gate - Paraben-free and often without fragrance

2. Yes to Carrots - Paraben-free and with lots of skin-brightening vitamin C

3. Alba Botanica - Paraben-free and with a myriad of natural extracts

4. Burt's Bees - Not always 100% natural but I am seriously obsessed with their Milk and Honey Body Lotion

Organic Color Systems: their hair color line uses certified organic ingredients, no ammonia, no parabens, and is much better for the hair than conventional ammoniated coloring systems.

My favorites are John Masters Organics, Jason, Dr. Bronner's, Dr. Haushka, and Kiehl's.

These days there has been a shift towards natural skincare, something I really enjoy. Ive seen almost all mainstream brands jump onto the natural bandwagon so its easier finding products that are natural and good value. I like rihanna's line and of course korean products! I haven't found products for haircare yet. Anyone have any recs?

The thing about haircare products is that the cosmetic products don't really work as well. Youll need to go towards a medical formulation such as rogaine and collagen. If you're looking to just strengthen your hair and make it healthier, then I recommend collagen. Its natural and no-nonsense as it usually comes as part of medical formulation. I used to take collagen capsules from vitaminexpress (vitaminexpress.org/uk/collagen-supplements). You can look for reputed brands online and lots will turn up.
